big boy tub/duck?...

Yesterday, Eric and I went to Target to get a few things. One thing that we bought was a big blow up duck that you put in the tub- like a transitional phase to get him used to the bug tub. Well let me tell you what, He loved it so much! We played in there for about 45 minutes! I did find though that you should give them the actual bath first- then let them play. We played for so long, he was done by the time I was ready to give him a bath. We just did a quicky, and then got out. John wasn't home yet when I put him in there, I wasn't sure what time he would be getting home- it has been pretty late all this week. Anyway, he called on his way home, and we were just about to get out. I tried to entertain Eric just a little longer so that John could see him. We made it, but just by the skin on our teeth! He was pretty cranky and tired by the time I got him out. I'm excited though for John to give him a bath tonight!

John has been working late all this week because he has a big presentation to do today. His group has been working hard all week, so keep your fingers crossed that it all goes well today! I'm sure that it will, I can't wait for him to get home early tonight! Well- like 5 or 6 ish- that will be early!!!:)
