so fast...

Well OH MY GOD!!! We bought a house today! I feel like I am jumping into this, but we have been looking long enough! The house that I said we went to look at- we hated! We definitely liked features about it, but overall, we hated it! BUT the other house that I said the listing expired and had an offer made- the seller made a counter offer- then we were able to get an offer in- the seller accepted it and then revoked their counter offer! It happened so fast, but we are so excited, and it wasn't as stressful this way! Hopefully the rest of the process won't be stressful either! Now everyone has to come visit, we have a pool and a jacuzzi, and a great backyard- WITH GRASS!!! It is a little patch, but grass none-the-less!!! It is a great house and we are very happy! taking the plunge...

Well we have been putting off buying a house long enough! John is probably not going to go to SOS before Christmas, so we are going to just bite the bullet and move on this house business! I started to talk with mortgage companies yesterday, but we haven't made a final decision on who we are going to go with. We did find out though that we are already approved for a loan, so I called the realtor today. We are very excited, although the first house that we got super excited about is not listed anymore!:( The listing expired yesterday, but someone got an offer in just in time. We are waiting to see if they accept the offer, or if they are going to relist it. We are going to look at a house today, I really like this one too. There are definitely things I like and don't like about each house. I just hope we find something that we fall in love with! When you are spending this much money on a house, I sure do hope we fall in love with it! Anyway, this house is 2 stories, 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 3 car garage, pool and grass! It sounds good, so hopefully we will like it as much when we see it. AND hopefully we can get it for a good price- now that it is a buyers market!
Keep your fingers crossed for us that we find something great!

cake and icing-yummm...

Well the party went real well yesterday, and all the worrying was for nothing! I was mostly worried when we decided just to do it here, but as the time came closer, I was unusually calm!!! I did get a little nervous when John went to the store a little later than planned and I was just here by myself, so I just had a beer and I was fine!:) Other than that, nothing bothered me! All of those kids-and adults- here running around, playing, eating, (only a few minor spills) and I was fine! Maybe I'll have to have more parties now!!! Well we'll see about that, I'm just glad this one went off without any problems!
Eric had a good time too. He got cranky a few times, but he isn't used to all of these people here either. For the most part, he just played and had a good ol' time! He loved the cake! He had a cupcake first and then a little piece of ice cream cake, and loved them both! He tasted a little bit of it first, then just went in with his face! He picked it up- icing side on his hand- and started to eat from the bottom. He did finally flip it over and of course the icing was everywhere! He ate every last bit- well other than what he was wearing!!!

birthday balloons...

We found out that Eric liked balloons a few weeks ago when his friend Kate gave him one from a party that she was at. Well grandma and grandpa McAndrew sent him 6 balloons for his birthday and he just loved them. They were tied to a bag, with a bear in it, and he just went crazy! He thought they were so much fun! I still can't believe that he is 1!!!

happy birthday...

I can't even believe that Eric in 1 already!!! It went so fast, it is amazing! Well John and I bought him a 'Lil Quad for his birthday. We gave it to him yesterday, and charged the battery for today! He loves to play with it, and had a good time riding it for the first time! He does need a few lessons in steering, but we will get there! He is just too funny!

facing forward...

I am so excited to say that we switched Eric's car seat to face the front! We figured that he is going to be a year in a few days, and next weekend is his birthday party, so we just did it this weekend. Well he loves it! He smiled the whole time we were in the car! I like it too, now he doesn't have to face the seat anymore! It made me smile just as much I think! I love to see what is going on!This is great!

Sooo much more fun!!!:)
