Well the party went real well yesterday, and all the worrying was for nothing! I was mostly worried when we decided just to do it here, but as the time came closer, I was unusually calm!!! I did get a little nervous when John went to the store a little later than planned and I was just here by myself, so I just had a beer and I was fine!:) Other than that, nothing bothered me! All of those kids-and adults- here running around, playing, eating, (only a few minor spills) and I was fine! Maybe I'll have to have more parties now!!! Well we'll see about that, I'm just glad this one went off without any problems!
Eric had a good time too. He got cranky a few times, but he isn't used to all of these people here either. For the most part, he just played and had a good ol' time! He loved the cake! He had a cupcake first and then a little piece of ice cream cake, and loved them both! He tasted a little bit of it first, then just went in with his face! He picked it up- icing side on his hand- and started to eat from the bottom. He did finally flip it over and of course the icing was everywhere! He ate every last bit- well other than what he was wearing!!!
