rodeo parade...

This town of Tucson is crazy! The whole town stops when the rodeo comes to town! The kids have off school Thursday and Friday- I have never heard of such a thing! So this year we decided to at least go to the parade Thursday morning. Jamie, Erika, myself, and all the kids! We met at the mall parking lot to catch a shuttle- which is totally the way to go in case you are wondering!!!_ at 7:45! Now Eric has been sleeping in so getting anywhere by 7:45 is rough! Luckily??? he was up at 6:30 yesterday morning, so we were able to get there no problem!!!:) We took the shuttle down and got there a little after 8- and the parade started at 9! We thought we would have plenty of time to get a curb seat. WRONG!!! Apparently you have to get to the parade about 7:30 to get a good seat! WEll we lucked out and sat behind some very nice people who were not only very patient with all of our kids, but let them get in front of them to stand and watch the parade! Well everyone had about enough at like 11:00, so we packed up and left. We had a really good time, I'm glad that we did it!:)
