am i at the beach???...

The weather has just been so beautiful here lately! Yesterday Eric and I went to Sabino Canyon to walk the road- well at least a little bit of it!:)- with our friends Katie and Jackson. We walked 2 miles, let the kids out to play for awhile, and then walked back. Wow, am I in such bad shape!!! I really have to start exercising more! ANYWAY, when we let the kids play a little, there was a little hill that led down to the water running off of the mountain, and a little beachy area with sand. We went down there and let the kids play. Eric was more interested in the water than the sand, but he did play in the sand too! ...yes I let him play in the sand, and he had it EVERYWHERE!!! Having a child, especially a boy, I just have to get over it!!! I'll let you know how that works out for me!!!:) We took their shoes off- since they were soaking wet anyway- and they put their feet in the water and got all wet and just had fun! The water was frigid mind you, but Eric wanted to walk across the water- on the rocks- in his bare feet! He had such a good time! I can't wait to take him to the beach in April!
