hair cut...

Well Eric got his first hair cut today! I hadn't planned on it, although he REALLY needed one! John wanted to get one, and I thought it would be a good idea to take Eric while daddy was getting a hair cut. You know, so that he could get familiar with the sounds and everything. Well John asked the girl if they cut kids hair, and she said 'Oh yeah, we can do him before you or after you'. I immediately said "Oh mommy isn't ready for that yet, I just want him to come a few times before we actually do it!" Well she was telling us how much a hair cut was, and if you only do the sides and back, it is only $3. John really wanted to, and like I said he really needed it, so I caved! I didn't have a camera there, which I am very upset about, but I did have her put the hair in an envelope- and she said all mom's do that for the first hair cut so I'm not crazy!!! (John thought I was!) I will take a camera for the 2nd planned hair cut, and then I will really look nuts! Oh well!!! Anyway, once again- he really did need it- but as I was getting him into the car, I looked at his head and actually thought that I missed those little curls on the back of his neck! I guess I can let them grow again- ok I guess I am a little crazy and a little nuts!!!
